When is Family Camp?
We’ve scheduled two family camps for the fall of 2019: September 13-15 and November 8-10.
What’s the schedule?
Families arrive Friday night for dinner. On Saturday, we’ll have a full slate of camp activities, three full meals, and times for singing, sharing and worshiping together. After breakfast on Sunday, families have the option of heading home or spending the rest of the morning on the camp property.
What if those dates don’t work for me?
If you have a specific date or season in mind, or if you’d like to organize a family camp with members from your church or community group or extended family, please let us know!
Where will we stay?
Each family sleeps in their own bunk room at Marannook, each with a private bathroom, climate control, and a big porch with rocking chairs.
What will we do?
You’ll enjoy all that camp has to offer, including activities such as archery, Channel Challenge, canoeing, the maze, adventure ropes and obstacle courses for all ages, and, when in season, the swimming pool and water slide. We’ll also have great meals in Manna Hall, songs and devotions on Manna deck, and a bonfire and s’mores at the giant rock by the lake.
Will someone help us with our children?
Yes! Our staff is here to serve – and that means taking plates to your table, playing with toddlers, you name it. Before camp starts, we take into account the ages of each child and the needs of your family and design a program that enables everybody to have a great time.
Is there an age requirement for children to attend?
No! By all means, bring your babies and small children with you to family camp. We can take care of them while you’re spending time with the rest of your family.
What should we bring?
Pillows, bed linens or sleeping bags, towels, washcloths. Dress, of course, is casual. You may want to bring rain gear, a sweater or jacket, and an extra pair of shoes. And don’t forget your Bibles.
How much does family camp cost?
Family camp is $450 for a couple and one child (or $400 for a single parent and one child), plus $50 for each additional child. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required upon registration.
