Family Camp F.A.Q.

What is Family Camp?
It’s an opportunity to get away from your daily routine and spend time together in God’s beautiful outdoors. Families will learn more about worshiping God together. Meals will be served in Manna Hall, our unique open-air dining hall and after each meal, there will be an exciting Bible time with singing, skits, and plenty of fun!

Where will we stay?
In your own bunkroom with private bath, climate control, and porch.

Should we leave young children at home?
No, you are welcome to bring babies; families have done it before with no problems. We’ll provide high chairs at meals and child care whenever you need it. Your children will be involved in camp activities with the counselors.

Will we have quality time together as a family?
Yes, parents and children will be together except on the morning of day 2, when parents will meet for Biblical teaching and discussion on family worship. On the evening of day 2, the children will enjoy a bonfire with singing, sharing, and s’mores with the counselors, while the parents enjoy a special candlelight dinner.

Will our children spend much time with the counselors?
During all meals and activities, our staff will be present to serve your family.

What are some Family Camp activities?
You will shoot archery, ride the cable car, negotiate the Great Maze, tackle the Channel Challenge and weather permitting go swimming at the pool.

What should we bring?
Pillows, bed linens or sleeping bags, towels, washcloths, and casual clothes. Also, you may want to bring raingear, a sweater or jacket, and an extra pair of shoes. We will have books you can use for worship times in your cabin, but feel free to bring your own. And don’t forget your Bible!
